"God is alive. Magic is afoot." - Leonard Cohen

I've got the impetus for a story, involving shanties, rivers, madness and storms. Everything feels big right now. I can feel the knotted coils unravelling. I am even thinking of my novel again, "The Lamplighter," which I so cruelly abandoned in lieu of other endeavors. It's waited patiently - easily the best and oddest thing I've written.

The world's ebb has become a boundless flow.

I'm being lazy - all day!

Hi there. Colleen here.

I haven't really thought much lately about 'being' and 'becoming' ... all the stuff that drives the whole show, you know. Usually spring brings that out in me. I mean, it's still there, it's just muffled. Flowering trees. Goodness, they are just so sweetly beautiful. I told Esteban the other day that if heaven were a physical realm individually suited to each person, mine would be filled with those flowering trees. And green everywhere.

The changes taking place are a marvel.

I called you about three weekends ago, but I never followed up. We should go out and get some Turkish coffee. Catch up on life. :)
